well i've got a new address. Dunno if you've heard but i've been living in hoboken, nj for the past oh three months. and before that i lived at 70 n. henry in brooklyn. so now it is time for me to move before i go back to school, and where am i moving-
yes 108 n. henry st. so i moved to hoboken just to move half a block away from my old apt. sweet.
but anyways, im happy becuase i absolutely love the neighborhood and if you are a fan of stella at all then in the most recent as of last week, you saw them in mcgolric park, yes that park by my old apt that has the gay-est statue ever! and the statue made it's tv debut. if i can get a screen shot i will. anyways
so besides that on my way home from dinner tonight i totally walked into john hutchins of cactus patch wait i mean army of me. we made eye contact but he kept walking and i didnt want to seem a fool so i didnt yell out, "john!" anywyas i went home only to realize that they are playing maxwells up the block from me here in ho-broken, but since i have to be at work at 2 am i cant go. but if i am out of work by 8 i can go to their show down on houston st. tomorrow night. i'd like to do that. it's 21 plus, but i am that now, annnd i havent seen them like any of the times they have come up here.
well last we spoke i was at work and hating it, two shows came and left and now i am working on the gift show. pretty heavy shit man. it is by far the worst show that we do, it takes up the whole javits centre all the levels of it annnnd the tent outside, and this "tent" is not something to take camping. It's huge. its going to be a bitch. i have to be at work at 2 only to stay possibly until 2 am the next day which is why i could possibly miss the cactus show tomorrow. i wish i had known i mean i would have at least planned to go to see them even if i knew i had to get up. are they opening? i really don't know and i cannot tell from their web sites because if they are not opening then tomorrow i could for sure go, but if they are opening i might not be able to make it.
ok well i think thats enough of my rambling, sorry no pix this time. sorry if i havent been around much, i worked all last week and saturday night myself, josh, billy, and amy and one of her and josh's friends went out bar hopping, but i guess it really wasn't bar hopping as much as it was hopping at a bar. the bunch of us went to a bulgarian bar down on broadway and canal, yes i did say chinatown. i can't go into it now, but it was great no american music only bulgarian and hindi (weird right?) and after we went to a place down on ave.A called niagra which smelled like rotting fish, but was an eighties club underneath and it was awesome, i danced on some make-shift pole/bar thing to pulp and then later to gorillaz because none of the other chicks dancing knew any of the tunes. and i figuered i had every right to be up there because i knew them.
