so blog-istas: here is my cool thing for this week and perhaps next week too:
sucking at life is not cool, avoid it at all costs. Surviving in life is the coolest thing ever. i got a shit grade on my midterm for soc. and i hate it and getting that grade has made me furious, because i dont think i deserve it. simply for wording, not for content. i got the content part. yeah ok. whatever.
i was so in love with that class that it makes me sick now. Irish dialect is the perfect thing to be studying on st.pats day which i am and which is wonderful. i made some new clothes and you can see them below. i <3>
i made a new shirt tonight. i thought i was going to hear from bill, but i guess he went to bed. oh well, fine. no big deal.
the other cool thing for this week is stencils and stencilry. check it out on Lj or craftster if you really care, but i know no one reaaallly cares enough to even click the link that takes them to this page so im sure you wont care about stencils.
uhh im going home and i cant wait its going to be wonderful and i'll be happy.

so i havent got much time but i wanted to post this as a thing thats cool. i think i will put up a weekly thing that is cool. and here it is.
i found this site while i was looking for stuff on black eyes, no not the things you get in a fight, the dischord band. but instead i got taken aback by this site and totally forgot what i was even looking for.

so you custom make shirts and they put them together for you. its the newest in new customation i guess. except that if its customized why do you have to decide by little drop boxes what you want?
ok so maybe its not that cool, but i thought it was rad. and somewhat reasonably priced since some are stiched on. Plus they had a buncha pix from billy-burg and shirts that said like Humboldt which made me gasp in glee.
i personally liked the purse. but i think ill just buy a tote and do it myself, being the crafty crapster i am.

ok i know i titled this something about futures, and i'll get there, i just wanted to get this out of the way. i saw most of 24-hour part-people the other night and i loved it, especially becuz i love new-wave music. and i love origional punk rawk! so therefore i was really into it.
now, "Futures- a re-evaluation"
after giving futures by jimmy eat world like a one-two star rating a few months ago when i first got it, i have decided that it is actually one of the best albums of the year. It is the between step between clarity and bleed american or self titled whichever makes you feel less like a terrorist.
It is what makes bleed american make sense. without it it just makes them look uncalculated and untrue to their origional image(eventhough i never thought that about them)
so the moral of the story is, go out and listen to futures. you probably wont like it, because pitchfork hated it too, but give it like 4 months and you will be in love!
also, beautiful beats by Q is prolly my favourite song ever, 1 because i love Q, 2 because it has beautfil beats, 3 because it has a keyboard/synthesizer and those things make me wanna dance!!!
and finally, it snowed, real bad, and it is still snowing, but!!! hofstra sucks big time cuz they wont give us a snow day. EVER!!!
